JOSÉ CARLOS BRONZE
Coordinator of the Department ‘APLOAD – Evaluation and Social Planning’
Co-founder and partner of APLOAD. He was born in Barcelos in 1975. In 1997, he graduated in Sociology, and in 2001, he completed a specialised master’s degree in Power and Political Systems, both at the University of Évora. Since 1997, he has been working in the fields of Cooperation and Social Development through Education, Training, Pedagogy, Strategic Partnership and Inclusion, among others. He is a board member of a training organisation and a non-governmental development organisation, which allows him to have in-depth contact with the national social, associative and business contexts.
He is experienced in Vocational Training, Project Design, Coordination, Monitoring and Evaluation. He has organised workshops, training courses and other activities in almost every country in the European Union and Türkiye, Morocco, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Brazil, São Tomé and Príncipe…
He has carried out projects, studies and evaluations in areas as diverse as Pedagogy (Alentejo Foundation), Tourism (INE – National Institute of Statistics), Ideologies and Politics (INE), Immigration and Minorities (Terras Dentro, NGDO), Special Education (Fenacerci), Ecology (Applied Macro-Ecology Unit, University of Évora), Female Entrepreneurship (S. Miguel City Council, Santiago Island, Cape Verde) and Information and Communication Technologies (Piaget Institute and Jean Piaget Universities of Mozambique and Cape Verde).
He is a certified trainer, holding a Certificate of Professional Aptitude (accordant to the Portuguese systems of Certification of Trainers); he regularly updates his skills by attending training courses and international events.
