APLOAD was responsible for preparing the studies referring to the following descriptors: Landscape, Topography, Spatial Planning and Land Occupation.
The environmental and landscape characterization of the existing situation involved the development and analysis of cartography, bibliographical research and fieldwork, to define units that could adapt to a wide variety of situations, each with unique characteristics.
Predictable impacts were analyzed in the construction and exploration phases, and several measures to minimize them were identified.
