Intervention Area: Porto Seafront (approx. 4 km long)

The Águas do Porto Municipal Company outlined the Program for the Structure Plan for the Porto Seafront, developed by the winning consortium Aqualogus / Biodesign / Apload, with a view to promoting the improvement of environmental conditions, urban planning and coastal planning and quality of bathing areas and waters and their urban surroundings. The aim is to contribute to the excellence of an area with strong tourist potential. The issues of Urban Planning, accessibility, structuring of roads (pedestrian, road, electric and cycling) were the ones that most concerned APLOAD, considering it a challenge that had been overcome.
